The Caustic: Smooches and fantasy Deuces to the NYC.

Insanely overpriced rents, wages that oft times don't coincide with those rent$ , lousy public transportation, large segments given over to tourism, quota summonses and stop and frisk policies by NYPD BOO, the mercy killing of any real nightlife, the gentrification of anyplace black and brown people can still afford to  live....

 I hop into my spaceship  of the imagination ,  leave NYC light years behind and the above mentioned are all of the things I will not miss!!

What I will have a fore longing for is one of the Big Apple's most endearing,  wonderful qualities. You can live in a building for over a decade and barely speak to or even know any of your neighbors. 

I've lived in the same  ill managed wohnung for over 15 years and the high turnover of  hipsters, miscreants, weirdoes and fellow grumpsters have one thing in common,  A  very labored, barely audible "Hi"from them is as much interaction I've had with all but a few.  #LoveIT


That is one thing that will me missed when I can scrape together enough shekels and take my talents to.....
Well ANY fucking where else.
